Social Worker Job

SOCIAL WORKER needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in Berkeley, CA.

TOP SKILLS SHOULD YOU POSSESS:

- Experience working with mentally ill patients
- Knowledge of Medicare and Medi-Cal requirements

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Coordinate care of patients through provision of clinical case management
- Determine appropriateness of admission, treatment and discharge
- Will collaborate with patient, family, physician and other members of the treatment team
- Will work in a hospital-based psychiatric inpatient setting

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Master's degree in Social Work - MSW - required
- Current CA LCSW preferred
- Demonstrated clinical competency in a psychiatric setting
- At least one (1) year experience working with severely mentally ill patients
- Working knowledge of Medi-Cal and Medicare requirements
- Previous experience in family counseling or family therapy preferred
