POSITION SUMMARY:

Applies graduate-level clinical social work skills to the psychosocial assessment of individuals, families, and groups and provides graduate-level clinical social work interventions as appropriate to client needs. Consults and collaborates with hospital and community professionals and programs, participates in program and organizational assessment, planning, and development according to license guidelines. Seeks professional social work supervision when appropriate for practice or training.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Licensed Social Worker with Master†s Degree in Social Work from accredited Social Work academic program (Accredited by the Council on Social Work Education). Past clinical experience in a setting with parent-child exposure, which is commensurate with clinical needs of service site. Must have strong listening and communication skills and the ability to work well in an interdisciplinary setting. Computer skills are highly desirable. Able to communicate verbally in conversation with individuals and groups. Must possess emotional health to resolve stressful clinical and professional situations and must have fine and gross motor function to write and type with ease. Hearing acuity is needed for good listening. Must have visual ability and acuity sufficient to read and write, interpret charts and other documents.
