Social Worker - Adolescent Response

Our client has a job vacancy for a Social Worker to work within an Adolescent Response Team based in Kingston. This vacancy has an initial 3 month contract and the pay rate for this role is £28 per hour (limited company worker).

Requirements:
Have you got a social work degree or equivalent?
Are you HCPC registered?
Do you have at least 2 years recent post qualified experience working with young people and their families with safeguarding issues and additional needs?
Do you have experience in delivery of group work programmes with parents and families?
Do you have experience of working with adolescents with complex care needs and/or mental health difficulties?

If you fit these requirements then you could be the ideal candidate.

Duties:
- You will be ensuring families are safeguarded and maintained within statutory education.
- You will be working collaboratively with other agencies delivering multi-agency integrated services.
- You will be managing a caseload.
- You will be carrying out initial and core assessments.
- You will be supporting and managing staff.
- You will be providing intervention programmes for families linking with key partnerships.
