Capita Resourcing are currently recruiting for a Senior Practioner/Manager to work within the London area of Brent

We are looking for an experienced Manager specialising in Children's Services to work within a busy yet supportive team with a strong mix of both permanent and agency staff.

Our client is looking for a registered Social Worker with 2 years+ UK Social Worker experience within a Children's Social Work team

The responsibilities will include:

* Experienced Team Manager required for a Childrens Fostering Team
* To be responsible for the organisation, management and supervision of social care, looked after children and independent review and child protection services for children
* To be responsible for the team based development of high quality social work, early intervention and looked after children practice by ensuring that case work is appropriately planned, critically evaluated and reviewed and that key performance indicators are met
* To contribute to overall strategic planning and management of the service and to the development of high quality services
* To lead the team ensuring that the functions of the Service are carried out effectively and in accordance with the legislation, regulations, guidance standards and local procedures and priorities
