Social WORK, Children and Families

Service Care Solutions are currently recruiting for a Social Worker to work within our Children and Families team based in the West Sussex area.

Purpose of the Job:

Manage a Children & Families caseload involving the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of appropriate action. Contributing to the effective application of resources to safeguard and promote the welfare of children and their families

This is an exciting opportunity and the role will include
*Managing a Children & Families caseload to include diverse cases
*Contribute to and review the development of ongoing initiatives
*Initiate and develop close working partnerships with statutory agencies
*Inform advise, counsel and support clients and carers
*Recruit, train, assess and support adoptive parents and foster carers

This is a great opportunity that has an initial on-going contract with a strong possibility of a long extension and an excellent rate of pay.

For this position you would ideally have:
*HCPC registration
*Degree in Social Work (or any other recognised equivalent qualification)
*Computer literacy

It is desirable that you would have a working knowledge of family court proceeding and looked after children/children in need.
