SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGER- NHS - LEEDS - £145 PER DAY - 6 MONTHS

My client, a busy central NHS organisation based in Leeds, is currently recruiting for a Social Media Manager, for an immediate start on a 6 month contract.

Summary

This is an exciting opportunity to work as part of a dynamic team delivering an effective service, and supporting managers and staff to implement digital strategies, with specific focus on the management of social media channels (Twitter, YouTube, Flickr etc.).

Key responsibilities

The post holder will have editorial responsibility for content disseminated via corporate social media and digital channels, including the clients Twitter account which has in excess of 100,000 followers, ensuring that it conforms with our house style and is in line with wider messaging. This will include the formulation of strategies and plans relating to the use of social media channels and contribution to the ongoing refinement of the organisation's social media policy.

The post holder will use insight, research and social media listening tools to report on specific campaigns and issues, and facilitate meaningful online interactions with users who seek to engage online. They will be the main point of contact for enquiries relating to the use of social media for corporate communications. They will build relationships and coordinate social media and digital marketing activity between partner organisations including NHS Choices, Public Health England, NHS IQ, HSCIC, Monitor and the Department of Health and NHS England.
