Projektbeschreibung
To investigate all reported instances of social housing fraud with a view to ensuring that the legitimate tenant is in occupation in accordance with the tenancy agreement.
Organise, co-ordinate and participate in joint anti-fraud initiatives, both within the team and our Social Landlord partners.
To organise, plan and prioritise your own social housing fraud investigation caseload as required, completing weekly schedules and co-ordinating tasks with other team members.
To investigate cases where tenants have obtained social housing through fraudulent means.
To develop a programme of preventative measures aimed at minimising the opportunity for individuals to commit social housing fraud.
To make written requests for the obtaining of information by an Authorised Officer in accordance with the Social Security Fraud Act 2001.
To gather evidence by way of written request, conducting interviews, observations, visiting properties, and to take statements and make written reports of the findings of all investigations undertaken
To advise on and report discrepancies as a result of a social housing fraud found in other areas within the Council.
Establish and maintain effective working relationship with other investigative bodies and agencies with a view to developing successful joint working partnerships
Prepare reports on time and to the agreed quality standards as required by the NFI Co- Ordinator and CAFM
Undertake visits to home addresses and other venues relevant to investigations as and when necessary which may include working out of normal office working hours
