Support Workers and Social Care Team Leaders Needed - All counties of Northern Ireland
Immediate vacancies on a Locum basis for experienced Support Workers and Team Leaders working in all counties in Northern Ireland with TTM health Care, working with Adults and Children presenting with intellectual disabilities.
The ideal candidate will:
Have 1 year previous experience in a caring/support/ monitoring role working with intellectual disabilities and be able to provide references to support their application
Ideally (but not necessarily) have completed a type of behavioural training such as Studio 3, MVA or equivalent course.
Have a NVQ qualification for Support worker roles or NVQ level 4 or QCF level 5 qualification for Team leader roles.
Ideally but not necessarily have completed a manual handling course.
Ideally be a holder of a current Police check. (Less than 1 year old)
Have fluent written and spoken English.
Be flexible with a friendly demeanour and excellent communication skills.
Have the ability to interact successfully on a one to one basis with clients of various backgrounds & disabilities.
