JOB DESCRIPTION

PERFORMANCE AND IMPROVEMENT ANALYST WITH VAST KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE WITHIN SOCIAL CARE REQUIRED FOR LOCAL AUTHORITY IN CHATHAM, KENT. INITIAL 3 MONTH CONTRACT WITH HIGH LIKELIHOOD OF EXTENSIONS, PAYING UP TO £475 PER DAY.

KEY SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

- EDUCATED TO DEGREE LEVEL OR EQUIVALENT
- DEMONSTRABLE, EXTENSIVE, EXPERIENCE OF WORKING WITHIN A STRATEGY, PERFORMANCE OR BUSINESS IMPROVEMENT ENVIRONMENT
- DEMONSTRABLE UNDERSTANDING OF PRINCIPLES OF DATA QUALITY, DATA PROTECTION AND INFORMATION SHARING AND HOW TO APPLY THEM
- DEMONSTRABLE ABILITY TO USE ADVANCED THEORETICAL/PRACTICAL/PROCEDURAL/ORGANISATIONAL/POLICY KNOWLEDGE ACROSS A SPECIALIST AREA AND HAS DETAILED KNOWLEDGE OF ORGANISATIONAL POLICIES, PRACTICES OR PROCEDURES.
- EXPERIENCE OF LEADING THE DEVELOPMENT OF PERFORMANCE REPORTING THAT DRIVES IMPROVEMENT
- KNOWLEDGE OF BEST PRACTICE IN PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT AND QUALITY IMPROVEMENT
- WELL-DEVELOPED RESEARCH SKILLS WITH ABILITY TO SYNTHESISE FINDINGS

- KNOWLEDGE OF LOCAL AUTHORITY/PUBLIC SECTOR PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT AND INSPECTION REGIMES SPECIFICALLY RELATING TO SOCIAL SERVICES

ABOUTTHE ROLE

- THE POST HOLDER WILL BE REQUIRED TO SUPERVISE, CO-ORDINATE OR TRAIN OTHER EMPLOYEES WHERE REQUIRED. AND/OR DEMONSTRABLE EXPERIENCE OF PROVIDING INFORMATION AND ADVICE ON INTERNAL PROCEDURES RELATED TO EMPLOYEES.
- MANAGE THE SOCIAL CARE PERFORMANCE TEAM (3 DIRECT REPORTS).
- SUPPORT THE ANALYSIS, EVALUATION AND USE OF INFORMATION AND INTELLIGENCE TO ENSURE STRATEGY, BUSINESS PLANNING AND FINANCIAL DECISIONS ARE EVIDENCE BASED.
- TO ENSURE THE ESTABLISHMENT OF EFFECTIVE SYSTEMS FOR CAPTURING AND ANALYSING RELEVANT AND USEFUL PERFORMANCE INFORMATION.
- CO-ORDINATE THE PRODUCTION OF PERFORMANCE REPORTS FOR A RANGE OF KEY STAKEHOLDERS INCLUDING SENIOR MANAGERS AND SERVICES TO ENSURE PERFORMANCE IS MONITORED AND MANAGERS HAVE THE EVIDENCE TO MAKE INFORMED DECISIONS ON IMPROVEMENT PLANNING AND RESOURCE ALLOCATION.
- LEAD AND SUPPORT PERFORMANCE IMPROVEMENT INITIATIVES WITH POORLY PERFORMING SERVICE AREAS/PROVIDERS AND THOSE REQUIRING IMPROVEMENT.
- IDENTIFY RELEVANT EXTERNAL DATA SOURCES, BEST PRACTICE AND COMPARATIVE/BENCHMARKING DATA AND INFORMATION, TO PROVIDE A CONTEXT FOR DATA/INFORMATION COLLECTED BY THE COUNCIL.
- LEAD AND SUPPORT NATIONAL DATA RETURNS AS REQUIRED BY THE DIRECTORATE.
- THE AVAILABLE POST WILL HAVE A SPECIALISM IN SOCIAL CARE PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT, IN WHICH SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERTISE WILL BE ESSENTIAL.

MY CLIENT IS A LOCAL AUTHORITY BASED IN CHATHAM, KENT THAT IS LOOKING FOR A HIGHLY EXPERIENCED PERFORMANCE & IMPROVEMENT ANALYST WHO SPECIALISES WITHIN SOCIAL CARE. THIS IS A CONTRACT POSITION FOR AN INITIAL 3 MONTH PERIOD WITH A HIGH POSSIBILITY OF EXTENSIONS. PAYING UP TO £475 PER DAY.
