SOC Software Engineer

Our client is a super high-visibility computer components company seeking an Engineer to develop software on Linux/Android to add device drivers interfaced to recognition accelerators.

Responsibilities: Develop software for SoC/Server platforms including: drivers for hardware accelerators, application programming interface library, reference application, and will be delivering the software stack with complete set of design documentation and unit testing.

REQUIREMENTS

- At least 3 years of RECENT combined research/work experience in the relative fields below
- System Software development in Linux/Android
- Experience in Kernel mode driver development/debug
- Experience in programming languages C, C++ and C#
- Design documentation and unit testing
- Ability to develop system software and reference application in Linux and/or Android

NICE TO HAVE

- Android application development experience desired
- Windows driver development experience desired
- Firmware development experience a plus

Estimated length of assignment: 26 weeks - funding approved for 6 months w/option to extend to 18 months based on project needs and candidate performance
