SOC Director

For our customer in Basel we are looking for a SOC Director

Project Description:

The SOC Director is responsible for overall content management, management of threat and incident response, and security operations. They provide direction onto overall SOC Operations, including activities performed by Security Operations, Incident Response, and Engineering. Responsibilities include generating metrics and reports for executive management

Your responsibility:

- Performing Resource management both in terms of SOC human resources
- Conducting performance appraisals of the SOC management staff and assisting Human Resources with management staff
- Overall direction of Use Case Development life cycle
- Overall direction of threat Intelligence, incident response, incident monitoring, root cause analysis
- Generating metrics around Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to stakeholders
- Organizational planning and strategy as part of the executive management team
- Annual budgeting and financial planning for organization
- Long-range forecasting of financial plans
- Managing annual budgets and perform periodic assessments and forecasts
- Day-to-day cash flows operations
- Responsible for budgets used to guide department salaries for SOC payroll and employee benefits

Requirements:

- Masters in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field. Security certifications including CISSP, CISA, CISM or SANS
- 10+ years in information security related experience, including SOC or equivalent experience
- 4+ year's experience with Program or Project Management in the security operations capacity
- Strong high level management background, including multi-site management experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in German
