SOC Analyst - Tier 2

SOC ANALYST (TIER 2) - BRUSSELS, BELGIUM - FREELANCE - INITIAL 4 MONTH CONTRACT - €65 EURO/HOUR

A freelance opportunity has been created for an SOC Analyst - Tier 2. You'll be responsible for conducting incident response operations according to procedures and best practices.

You'll have extensive experience in security areas such as SIEM, IDS, APT and WAF.

You'll ideally have experience with Linux and/or Windows OS with a deep understanding of networking and attack methods.

You'll be part of a 24/7 SOC team, which works on a rotating shift schedule.

You'll be the first point of escalation for Tier 1.

KEY SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

- Experience working in an SOC role
- Strong logical and analytical skills.
- Experience in the analysis of security events and incidents.
- Experience of network security zones, Firewall configurations and IDS policies.
- Experience with Security Assessment tools (NMAP, Nessus, Metasploit, Netcat etc.)
- Knowledge of common threat areas
