SOA Developer Job

SOA DEVELOPER needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in AUBURN HILLS, MI.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- The SOA Developer works as a team member and is responsible for working with SOA Architects and project development teams to deliver robust, well tested web services components meeting required functionality.
- The individual in this position has experience in implementation, and deployment of software applications in the business world.
- This individual is knowledgeable in all aspects of system integration and has a basic understanding of network systems and hardware.
- The individual is confident in delivering web services which meet requirements and design specifications to support new and existing applications.
- Produce scalable, flexible, robust and efficient solutions with SOA and related technologies like WSDL/XSD, WS-*, BPEL that satisfies both the functional and non-functional requirements
- Design, develop, deploy, test and maintain technical assets in SOA environment, web services and integration
- Develop configurable code modules that integrate to enterprise services
- Identify technical issues
- Responsible for reviewing and working with project team for change integration and source control.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Seven (7+) or more years of experience
- Experience designing and implementing business applications using Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) to provide concrete reusable services
- Experience using enterprise integration applications and tools such as IBM MesageBroker and DataPower, Oracle Fusion, MuleSoft, WSO2, Apache Camel, etc.
- Solid Java/J2EE, JMS, XML, XSLT, XQUERY, XSD, SOAP, REST, WSDL development experience
- Ability to interact with the customer for deployment of software version updates and where appropriate, code promotion and production support
- Exposure to and understanding of Continuous Integration and Agile Service Development
- Comprehensive IT analytical skills, strong problem analytical skills,
- Working knowledge of various multi-user, multi-tasking operating systems/platforms (Unix, Windows)
- Ability to establish and maintain a high level of customer confidence in ability to deliver to business needs.
- Ability to identify elements suitable for Server Side caching and/or aggregation and best practices and approaches for accomplishing the caching
- J2EE/Java development
- Enterprise Integration applications - IBM Message Broker, Oracle Fusion, MuleSoft, WSO2, etc.
- Business/Consumer-facing web applications, Web Services
- Demonstrated web services development experience
- Demonstrated experience with WSDL, WADL, XSD, WS-*, SOAP, REST, XSLT, BPEL, BPMN, Security, Continuous Integration (Hudson/Jenkins), Maven, SOAP-UI
- Demonstrated experience in working with external technology vendors
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Computer Science, engineering, or related discipline, or equivalent
- WebSphere Message Broker version 8 or 9 desired
- WebSphere MQ version 7 desired
- Oracle RDBMS version 11 desired
- Portal/web services design/development desired
- IBM Datapower appliance experience desired
