SOA Architect - Payments/Retail Banking/Call Centers/Credits - Togaf

NEXT VENTURES SEEKS AN EXPERIENCED ARCHITECT WITH TOGAF AND EXPERIENCE IN SOA IN RETAIL ORGANISATIONS, ESPECIALLY RETAIL BANKING.

The IT Architect is responsible for:

- Deliver, on time, the architectural artefacts with respect to Architecture governance
- Obtain the validation of those artefacts via the architecture peer review meetings and architecture gates
- Translating business requirements into working ICT-systems by:
-   identification of requirements
-   understanding the as-is
-   translating and breaking down complex requirements into coherent components
-   proposing a design of the solution.
- Controlling whether proposed solutions will function according to the requirements. Be attentive to Non Functional Requirements (availability, performance, security, )
- Acting as prime responsible in large engagements during both bid and delivery phase
- Giving architectural guidance to the project teams
- Striving for breadth, completeness, and correctness at the lowest level of detail.
- Understanding compliance rules and regulations in finance sector

REQUIRED LEVEL OF EDUCATION: University (Industrial/Civil Engineer), Master or similar by experience, with AT LEAST 10 YEARS' IT EXPERIENCE with exposure to several domains, preferably in large financial services organisations.

MANDATORY BUSINESS SKILLS: Successful 5+ years if experience in IT architecture organisations, able to understand quickly the constraints from the projects and to deliver a valid architecture solution on time, good and broad IT background to interact with stakeholders (from the project team to the architecture gate participants), able to deliver high level documentation and follow the Customer processes for IT Architecture, ability to familiarize with new domains at a high pace, business attitude and solution driven, good communication and coordination skills (written, oral, presentation, etc.), technical Writer, team-worker, ability to treat several projects simultaneously, strong analytical skills, experienced in implementing changes in complex organisations, critical mind-set, result oriented.

EXPECTED BUSINESS SKILLS: Able to understand bank related business processes and assess impacts on business, able to understand low level technical documentation

Mandatory Architecture skills:
Proven experience and EXHAUSTIVE KNOWLEDGE IN AT LEAST 2 AREAS out of the followings, and a BASIC UNDERSTANDING OF A SIGNIFICANT NUMBER OF OTHERS:

-   Data/Information Architecture
-   Service Architecture
-   SOA Implementation success factors
-   Deployment Architecture
-   Functional Domains (eg Credits, Payments, Core Banking/Account Management systems, call centers)
-   Business Intelligence
-   IT Architecture in Agile Projects
-   Architecture for performance, collaboration with software engineering
-   Security Architecture
-   Electronic Document Management
-   Omni channel architecture for Retail organizations
-   Any relevant other

EXPECTED TECHNICAL SKILLS: Knowledge of Architectural Models (preferably TOGAF)
