Snr. Systems/Network Administrator

Rotterdam, The Senior System Administrator is responsible for installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware and software and related infrastructure, with a strong focus on network infrastructure. The activities are mostly maintenance based, but also assistance in project teams is part of the job. Project participation on projects is focused on smoothen the transition from projects to production and maintenance.

Activities:

-Installation and configuration infrastructure & participate in projects
-System monitoring, verifying the integrity, capacity, availability of the infrastructure -Performance testing and reporting
-Improving the production environment: proactive changes to prevent incidents
-Upgrades and patches on a regular basis
-Solving incidents and changes
-Managing system documentation and keeping it up to date

Profile:

System/Network Administration:
-Microsoft Windows 2008/2012 (MCITP/MCSE level)
-VMware vSphere 5.x (VCP level)
-HP Procurve networking (HP Expert One Networking AIS level)

Preferred System/Network Administration certification:
-MCITP Enterprise Administrator/MCSE
-VMware VCP 5.x
-HP Expert One Networking AIS

Preferred knowledge:
-Microsoft Exchange 2010, Microsoft SCOM, Microsoft SCCM, Citrix Netscaler, Microsoft SQL & Netapp CMODE Storage
-Good communication skills (English), able to work in international team
