SMT Technicians - Machine Operators

Yoh has three (3) contract opportunities for SMT MACHINE OPERATORS to join our client in Rochester, NY.

JOB OVERVIEW:
There are two positions available on second shift (MO - TH - 4 x 10 - 330 PM - 2 AM.) and one position available on first shift. THESE POSITIONS ARE ONE YEAR CONTRACT POSITIONS.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Selects proper programs for productions runs.
- Performs feeder replenishment during SMT runs.
- Performs line change-overs between production runs.
- Loads reels onto machine in assigned location.
- Sets and verifies that width of conveyor and support pins are set, to properly transport boards through the operation.
- Places PCB's in screen printer
- Performs first piece quality check to ensure Standards are met. May make adjustments to equipment to correct any deviations and runs job.
- Check boards prior to reflow oven operation to ensure parts are properly set and they meet Quality Assurance Standards. May stop equipment during production run to make periodic adjusts to parts being added to boards.
- Performs routine preventive maintenance on equipment as required.
- Follows all safety rules and performs other duties as required by supervisor.
- Check for any deviations, loads part feeders into proper locations of machine.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- At least one (1) year experience with the following SMT equipment - Fuji XPF, Fuji CP, and Universal SMT equipment. (Not necessary that you have exposure to all of the equipment. The more exposure the better)
- Must be able to understand information on traveler.
- Experience setting up equipment for screen printing process and operating machine.
- Experience observing boards as they are processed through SMT equipment and may make adjustments to parts to ensure boards meet company and/or customers established specifications.
