My client is looking for a SMPS Design Engineer join on an initial 6 month contract.

The Role:

- SMPS Design Engineer
- Feedback to Manager & Team
- LED lighting fixtures

Required:

- AC/DC, AC/AC, DC/DC Design experience
- Resonant conversion, Power Factor Correction and Synchronous Rectification
- Control Loop Design including voltage and average current mode
- EMC Filter Design
- Conventional and Planar Magnetic Design
- Design of special to type test equipment, fixtures, software and cables
- Reporting, control and quality management of the entire design process
- Proven track record of product conception through to prototype and full production
- Strong experience of leading edge power conversion design
