SME - Internet and Application Development

Our client, a large government organisation requires a SUBJECT MATTER EXPERT - INTERNET AND MOBILE APPLICATION DEVELOPMENT that will be responsible for ensuring solutions provided by the organisations supplier are appropriately specified and well developed. The Subject Matter Expert will have significant experience with the development and delivery of similar systems.

The purpose of the role is to enable the project to leverage new and emerging technologies related to Internet and mobile technologies.

SKILLS REQUIRED:

- Sound understanding of NFC and emerging mobile technologies.
- Demonstrated and significant experience with specification, ARCHITECTURE, DESIGN, DEVELOPMENT AND TEST OF TRANSACTIONAL WEBSITES, EMPLOYING WSDL, SOAP, JAVA, HTML, XML, JBOSS ESB, ANDROID, IOS.
- Experience with deployment, use and management of CMS.
- Consulting: Client liaison, presentations, workshop facilitation, client interviews, report preparation.
- Engineering practice: requirements analysis and specification, design review, inspection, test management, acceptance.
- Contract management: Contractor supervision, negotiation, formal contract communication.
- Project management: planning, reporting, scheduling, use of standard project management procedures and tools.
- Demonstrated high-level time management and organisational skills, as well as advanced written, oral communication and interpersonal skills.
