This is an initial 6 month contract opportunity.Overview

Our client is seeking an SME in Mobile Application Development and Implementation to join the Web & Digital Services (WDS) team for a period of six months. Role and Responsibilities

- Evaluate current mobile application development practices within the company.
- Provide recommendations and help implement new mobile tools and workflow processes.
- Build integration points with existing IT infrastructure.
- Rebuild existing mobile applications
- Develop documentation and training manuals to assist with future development (internal or external) following the conclusion of the 6-month consultation period.

Qualifications

Required Skills:

- Native & hybrid mobile application development and deployment.
- HTML5, Javascript, Cascading style sheets (CSS).
- Experience working with open source mobile frameworks (PhoneGap, BackBone, Codiqa, etc.).
- Social media Application Platform Interface (API) integration.
- Documentation and training.
- Mobile analytics integration. Desired Skills:
- Mobile framework development experience.
- Experience working with municipal/large organizations and equivalent.
- Experience creating secure login systems.
- Experience working with local and cloud data sources.
- Enterprise app packaging and deployment.
