Smartplant 3D System Administrator Job

SMARTPLANT 3D SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR for a LONG TERM CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in ALVIN, TX. This position has the possibility of direct hire.

THIS POSITION IS LOCATED AT A CLIENT SITE LARGE INDUSTRIAL CHEMICAL FACILITY (TOBACCO AND SMOKE FREE). THE COMPANY MAINTAINS AN ENGINEERING TEAM AT THE SITE.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Troubleshoot SmartPlant problems with minimal supervision.
- Write programs/develop tools to improve user efficiency.
- Responsible for set-up and execution of all project deliverables from Model to clients and vendors Set up, maintain and support all engineering projects in SmartPlant 3D.
- Be proactive and have the ability to communicate effectively with designers and engineers in order to understand their needs and expectations.
- Be able to train and support designers and engineers in the use of SmartPlant 3D, SmartPlant P&ID, and SmartPlant Foundation-applications and associated developed tools.
- Coordinate the interference Detection Process and Reporting for Projects. Create and manage reports in SmartPlant.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Minimum three to five (3-5) years of relevant experience in a SmartPlant 3D, SmartPlant P&ID, and SmartPlant Foundation support role. PML (Parametric Modeling Language) preferred.
- Ability to support Draft. Relevant experience in a PDS support role desired
- Fluent in the use of SmartPlant 3D, SmartPlant P helping leading corporations and governments make the world a better place. Be a part of this team!
