Skilled HGV Vehicle Mechanic Required for Catterick

MPI ARE CURRENTLY LOOKING FOR SKILLED HGV VEHICLE MECHANICS TO WORK IN CATTERICK, YORKSHIRE.

Applicants must have the following Qualifications & Experience:

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in mechanical engineering discipline

• Or Vehicle Mechanical or Mechanical Engineering Apprenticeship

• Or be Class 1 REME Vehicle Mechanic

• Applicants must have HGV Cat 'C' or 'C& E'

• Applicants must have a full UK Driving licence.

• You must have a number of years experience repairing vehicles in a commercial environment.

• Desirable would be a Tracked Vehicle Licence 'H'

Duties: Service, repair and fault diagnosis of Warrior, Bulldog, Mastiff, Ridgeback, Husky and Jackal vehicles.

Service & Repair MAN HGV's, Landrover, Pinzgauer, Leyland Daff, Small to medium sized trailers.

You will be working on your own initiative and within a team environment to tight deadlines.

Contract is approx. 6 months

Approx 40 hours per week (with overtime opportunities - not guaranteed)

Applicants must have their own Vehicle Mechanics Tool kid of sufficient quantity and quality.

£16.00 per hour LTD/£12.65 per hour PAYE
