Site Supervisor needed for exciting opportunity in Aberdeen Civils Supervisor Civils supervisor required for Aberdeen A Civils supervisor job based in Aberdeenshire paying a competitive salary (plus potential bonus and extra benefits) assisting with the management of groundworkers and operatives on a large civils site based in Aberdeenshire Your new company This opportunity will be working for the civils division which is part of a locally based construction company who have got a significant amount of work on in the area. Being renowned for its low level of staff turnover and opportunities for progression within the company, they are one of the major players in the Aberdeen market. Due to the construction market in Aberdeen being so buoyant, this company will be looking to take on experienced supervisors due to the sheer volume of work they have at the moment and the amount of work they will have in the next 6 months. Your new role Reporting to the project manager, you will be responsible in assisting the day to day running of the site and management of sub contractors. Duties include monitoring progress, overseeing ordering and delivery of materials. Carrying out regular safety checks ensuring that work is done safely, on time and within budget to the right quality standards and that the work complies with building regulations and health and safety legislation. You will be responsible for attending regular site meetings to liaise with colleagues to make sure everything is running to schedule. What youll need to succeed Previous civils construction experience dealing with projects involving reinforced concrete structures, concrete piling and large scale muckshift work is essential to be considered for this role. Ideally you will have experience of supervision but you will also be considered if you are an experienced ganger/foreman looking to make a step up on to the supervisory level. As well as this, it would be advantageous if you obtain your 2 day SSSTS and first aid qualification to be considered.
