MY DUTIES:

-Run services
-Service Capacity planning
-Building automation and processes
-Emergency response
-Revising software designs to mitigate failures on other parts in the system
-Provide infrastructure and code best practices
-Consultant for our Dedicated Delivery Teams
-Performance Monitoring/Improvements
-Create hotfixes for owned Services
-General Monitoring of Services

MY QUALIFICATIONS:

-Experience with previously working on a Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) team
-Knowledge in fault tolerance, cascading failures, capacity planning and disaster recovery
-Excellent knowledge with Ruby on Rails Skills 4.x/edge and with Ruby 2.3/edge
-Test driven development with RSpec and Cucumber
-Experience with relational databases (MySQL, MSSQL) and with complex applications
-Expertise in HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript (jQuery)
-Experience with performance monitoring
-Experience with Software/Systems architecture and with troubleshooting
-General Linux skills
