Site Manager - UK Solar Farm

Our client are a growing renewable energy developer. They have developed, designed and built large scale solar projects in the UK and overseas. They specialise in the development of ground mounted solar farms but have also built commercial and domestic rooftop portfolios.

The company is looking for talented Site Manager that will be able to oversee the construction of new solar farm and commercial rooftop projects in the UK and abroad. They need a skilled professional with an exceptional understanding of UK health & safety and CDM regulations. The professional will have an excellent track record of delivering large scale infrastructure projects in the UK and accustomed to building projects to tight deadlines and budgets.

For the right candidate there is a direct and clear career progression path to Operations Director.

To be successful in this role you must have the following skills:

- Minimum 5 years experience in large scale infrastructure projects.
- Site and Project Management skills.
- MUST have experience of managing large scale solar farms/solar parks 5 MW +
- Commercial rooftop solar experience highly regarded.
- MUST have an excellent understanding of UK H&S guidelines and adhering to these.
- CDM regulations.
- Ability to manage and select subcontractors.
- Construction management
- City & Guilds 17th Edition (highly regarded)
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to travel on the job.
