Site Manager

A site manager job based in Aberdeenshire paying a competitive salary (plus excellent bonus and benefits package) managing the day to day running of an existing development for a locally based housing developer. Your new company This company is based in Aberdeenshire and has projects around the Aberdeen area. Being a relatively small company, everything is under one roof and the company is streamlined in terms of management. As well as this, there is a massive variety of work that they deal with ranging from 180k in value all the way up to bespoke one off luxury builds. Due to the construction market in Aberdeen being so buoyant, this company will be looking to double their workforce in the next 5 years with a number of developments starting up in the area. Your new role Reporting directly to the managing director, you will be responsible for the day to day running of the site including labour and sub contractors. Duties include monitoring progress, overseeing ordering and delivery of materials. carrying out regular safety checks ensuring that work is done safely, on time and within budget to the right quality standards and that the work complies with building regulations and health and safety legislation. You will be responsible for holding regular site meetings to liaise with colleagues to make sure everything is running to schedule. What youll need to succeed Previous house building experience up to and beyond 10 years at a site manager level is essential to be considered for this role. Volume house building experience is preferred and you must have a working knowledge of the construction of new build timber kit frame structures. As well as this, you must be very focussed on customer service and have experience of constructing high quality bespoke housing. As well as this, it would be advantageous if you obtain your 5-day SMSTS and first aid qualification to be considered.
