Site Manager

Due to recently renewing a 5 year framework agreement my client now has an immediate requirement for 2 project managers to based at Gatwick Airport.

Ideally you will be immediately available (and will have had experience on site on an airport in the UK - ideally Gatwick.)

This will be an initial 6 month contract position but due to it being a 5 year agreement there will be multiple extensions.

Develop and monitor project plans and other project documentation in accordance with Company and Client Council standards.
Manage projects to agreed time, budget and deliverable quality as set out in the project documentation.

- Identify, manage, and record project risks and issues, including the development of contingency/mitigation/resolution/escalation plans.
- Monitor the project progress and use of resources, initiating corrective action where necessary,
- Liaise with internal and external staff, contractors and consultants to identify and develop innovations in service provision and project delivery.
-Establish and maintain effective working relationships with external clients and to ensure all staff and stakeholders involved in the project meet their responsibilities on time and to the required standard.
-Lead, motivate and manage team staff to ensure the efficient and effective delivery of the project within budget and timescales.
-Report through agreed reporting lines on project progress and prepare other reports applicable to the role, Handover reports.
-Comply with corporate guidance, standards, and frameworks for Project Management.
-Liaise with project assurance roles where appointed to assure the overall direction and integrity of the project.
-Manage and monitor project budgets in accordance with company and client requirements, completing documentation as required.
-Manage project administration and required configuration management
-Conduct end project evaluation to assess how well the project was managed and prepare end of project documentation.
