Site Installation Supervisor - 6 Months FTC

Role Summary:

Responsibility for managing and supervising the day to day progress of allocated sites during the installation phase.

Main duties and responsibilities for the role include:

Main Accountabilities:

- To ensure Sub Contractors are adhering to the required processes.
- Ensure Sites are completed within required / agreed timescales

Main Responsibilities:

- Ensure all site controls are correctly set out to protect the safety of workers, pedestrians and vehicles during the construction period
- On the completion of works carry out a final inspection to ensure all immediate snagging issues are addressed
- Arrange and attend a joint sign - off meeting for each site for acceptance into the defects maintenance period with TfL
- Monitor the installation for each Site and report daily progress
- Supervise the setting out of each site from the approved site pack
- Monitor the progress of each site on a daily basis, completing a daily site record form to record the resources employed at that site, progress achieved to programme and any actual measures carried out as appropriate at that stage of installation
- Carry out any other duties as requested by the On-Street Project Manager

Skills Required:

- Ability to work to own supervison
- Preferable Construciton / Mechanical background
- Previous client facing experience
- Exceptional People Management skills
- A willingness to develop and take on additional duties;
- Trustworthy, reliable and flexible
- Problem resolution skills

Salary: £40000 - £45000 per annum + Pro Rata. Date posted: 01/07/2013
