SITE INSPECTION ENGINEER
Our client is looking to recruit an experienced site engineer to join their team. This is a contract position located in Dublin.
The successful candidate must act as a quality control checkpoint of all documentation coming from Supplier's & validation of this documentation before releasing it to customers.
Existing experience in the Telecoms industry required:
- Knowledge of different site types
- Knowledge of different site inspection types - one man or two man, climbing or ground, electrical, aircon
- Knowledge of site access procedures, accreditation, Health & Safety
- Knowledge of ecological factors
- Ability to validate Inspection reports, pick up anything obvious the supplier may have missed on inspection
- Ability to validate defects from completion reports
- Knowledge of pricing in relation to materials
- Ability to provide accurate quotes to customer
Specific Tasks:
Defects
- Tracking any faults defects resulting from failed inspections & raise tickets in customer defects tracker/system
- Requesting quotes from suppliers for OOS works,approve works & raise P.Os for works arising from site inspections.
- Approving monthly reports of out of scope works (OOS)
- Managing tickets on customer defects and working with wider group to reduce ticket queue
