Site Engineer - Civil Engineer - Telecommunications

The Site Engineer coordinates and pushes for the most cost efficient technical solution in balance with customer guidelines, HandS specifications, Landlord requirements, Radio planning requirements and construction requirements within challenging timelines because of targets agreed with the customer. You will be based inside and out of office

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collect and check documentation for the Technical Site Survey Report
- Plan, coordinate and lead Technical Site Surveys (TSS) if required (attendance of SEN is decided by SEN)
- Coordinate and drive towards the most cost efficient technical solution in balance with customer guidelines, HandS specifications, Landlord requirements, Radio planning requirements, construction requirements etc.
- Validation of technical drawings based on the TSS
- Controlling and checking materials list (MRF).
- Controlling and checking material flow logistics
- Detailed follow up during construction phase to ensure the site is built according to Engineering Package at the right quality. This is needed to ensure the site is accepted first time right.
- Collect and control (approve/reject) quality of Site Audit Report, Site Acquisition documents, Site Drawings etc., including Execution documents during site building process from ASP.
- Supervising progress of site building process; Site Acquisition, Civil Works Design, Civil Works Construction, InstallationandIntegration, Initial Tuning including Acceptance.

CANDIDATE SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS
- Coordinating skills and acting as first/main point of contact for the ASP
- Technical knowledge of 2G/3G/4G Ericsson telecom radio access systems. Knowledge of TX Micro Wave link roll out is a pre.
- Has a good understanding of the Telecom roll out process in general: Search, Technical Site Survey, Engineering package, Build kickoff, Logistics ordering, Build phase, Civil Works ready, Manco/issue management, Build acceptance/quality audit, As built review, etc.
- Speaks Dutch fluently and clearly and speaks good English. Excellent Dutch writing skills, Good English writing skills
- Technical education, preferably Bachelor degree Construction Engineering, Civil Works technical and at least 2 years of experience with turn-key Telecoms rollout projects, experience with outside office civil works on the radio site location including good telecoms product knowledge.

Preferred skills:
Technical knowledge of: Antenna and feeder installations, Ericsson 2G, NodeB/3G, 4G/LTE Installations and Integrations, Power installations
