Site Engineer
A number of Site Engineer is needed for our client, a prestigious international
Telecommunications company in Romania for a long term project to be based in Bucharest. Start in ASAP.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Respects and applies the work safety procedures, firefighting and health procedures for all entities involved in the project
- Respects the safety norms and internal rules settled by our client, complies with all legal requirements in force
- Managing professionally a small group of subcontractors responsible of network deployments.
- Providing technical support/on field support for NodeB's, BSC/RNC and power equipments(PSUpower supply units)
- Performing site survey and design for equipment implementation at request.
- Performing projects analysis and recommends solutions for new equipment installation
- Performing equipment installation and commissioning as per agreed specifications for Power
- Supply Units (PSU), BS (base station) equipment, Microwave, 3rd party equipment.
- Requesting, updating and distributing the site materials list to Logistic dept in order to deliver all the installation materials and equipments to site, on time.
- Solving any problems related to site engineer responsibility as per Trouble Ticketing Procedure
- Continuously improving its knowledge about all the equipment and services.
- Participating to all internal training sessions to achieve the best efficiency and accuracy
- Attending meeting for the analysis of the activity regarding the reports to the technical dept.
management on the situation and progress of the assignments.
- Any other tasks may be assigned by direct supervisor or department head
SKILLS AND SPECIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor degree(or above) in telecommunications, electronics or computer science;
- A sense of responsibility in work
- Able to adopt frequent travel with irregular working hours
- Extrovert and good communication skills;
- 2-3 year experiences.
- Fluent in English;
- Have driving license are preferred;
