Site Engineer

Site Engineer needed to work based in Sunderland for a large infrastructure organisation. This will be a 3 month extendable contract.

We are looking for a temporary graduate engineer to start on a project for a period of approximately 3 months to undertake a setting out and quality control role on a high quality highway scheme in Sunderland. Reporting to the section engineer they will be responsible for undertaking site survey & setting out, issuing permits to dig, working to inspection and test plans and undertaking quality control on site.

The candidate will be educated to Degree/HND or C level in Civil Engineering and will have a minimum of 5 years experience post graduation working for major Civil Engineering contractors on highway and infrastructure schemes. They should have experience of working to ISO9001, ISO14001 and ISO18001 quality, environmental and safety systems.

They must hold the following qualifications as a minimum:
CSCS Card.
Utilities Detection with RD8000 equipment.
IOSH Avoiding Danger from Underground Services or Roads and Streetworks Supervisor.

Rates around £17 per hour.
