Site Engineer

Are you an experienced site Engineer with Nuclear experience? If so I would be very keen to hear from you. Magnox potentially have scope to recruit Site Engineers to work at Traws.
You will be responsible for managing the Site activities of projects being undertaken by the Company at Site to Safety and Quality standards in a timely and cost conscious manner

Control and supervise contracted work to ensure that project work is completed safely within specified company and project safety procedures and plans. Ensuring proejct work meets specified quality standards, costs and delivery programmes. Monitor and record project progress and resource usage. Co-ordinating project interfaces. Contribute to the evaluation project outcomes and implement improvements. Comply with all health, Safety, Environmental and Quality policies, procedures, work instructions and risk assessments and support the continuous imporvement of Health, Safety, Environment and Quality on Site. As a customer focused individual, the post holder will be expected to supoprt delivery within his or her range of skills, knowledge, experience and competence. Key Skills A broad knowledge of engineering standards preferably evidenced by a Degree (NQF level 6) but as a minimum HNC (NQF level 5) in engineering or science, or significant appropriate equivalent experience. Knowledge of contract and project management techniques as evidenced by associate membership of the APM or an equivalent NVQ level 4 in project management. Practical experience of managing the site activities of projects in a heavily regulated capital investment industry including time at a nuclear power station site. Working knowledge of practical procedures and systems, (eg CDM regs and site licence conditions, company safety procedures and rules and statutory requirements).
