Site Design Engineer

Duration: 3 months

Location: Voorburg - Netherlands

You will be part of the Network Integration Team (Data-com Network Division) and will carry out the following type of activities:
* Prepare an inventory of the as-is situation at FTTS sites throughout the country.
* Integrated with the high-level project planning, develop a detailed field operations planning.
* Based on the project scope, provide clear and detailed instructions to field operation engineers.
* Obtain formal approval from the operator for each operation.
* Assess the quality of the field operation work.
* Where required, develop and drive quality improvement plans for field operations.

Technical dimension
* 5+ years of experience in Telecommunications Industry (Carrier or Vendor)
* Conceptual knowledge of an IP transport network (including IP Routers, transmission technology, radio technology, etc) is a must.
* Experience with the Vodafone Netherlands network is very much appreciated
* Experience in dealing with local field engineer companies is required
* Structured and precise work attitude
