Project Manager - NGN/VP - Brussels - Contract - Internet Service Provider
I have an urgent requirement for a Project Manager with a specialism in Next Generation networks and Voice Products, this is a contract requirement for a major Internet service provider based in Brussels.
The role is to manage a portfolio of projects. This involves:
*Projects and programmes of work across the business.
*Business Analysis to capture and interpret user requirements to support on-going development.
*Responsibility for delivering the required outputs/products detailed in the Project. Operating at a senior level with responsibility for the management of regulatory issues and major third party suppliers.
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to;
*Acceptance and sign off of delivery.
*Agree appropriate technology to be used (hardware and software) for the delivered solution.
*Define appropriate processes to ensure the quality of the project deliverables
*Manage 3rd party suppliers as necessary. Liaising with third parties and internal support groups according to the Governance Plan
*Develop and actively update project plans performing metrics collection and analysis activities, as required. Ensure timely control action to mitigate the impact of project issues on the plan.
*Establish/agree baseline project scope, budget and timescales
The ideal project manager will come from an IT/Telco background, where they have been delivering projects in a B2B environment.
The types of products this area of the business focus on are Next Generation Voice and IP telephony products (VoIP, ISDN, NGN) So they will need an appreciation/background of these areas.
They will need to confident and capable with working with demanding Customers, Internal tech teams and suppliers. Excellent communication and relationship building skills are essential.
