Site Agent required for local contractor based in Angus Site agent required for Angus A site agent job based in Angus paying a competitive salary (plus benefits) managing the day to day running of a number of sites in the Tayside area specialising in refurbishment and fit out work. Your new company This company is very busy at the moment with a number of jobs working closely with Angus council throughout the Angus and Tayside region. Being renowned for specialising in refurbishments of flats and commercial units, there is a vacancy currently for a site agent to join their expanding team. Due to the construction market in the North East being so buoyant, this company have a full order book with a couple of large projects on at the moment with more due to start within the next couple of months Your new role Reporting to the project manager, you will be responsible for the day to day running of the site including labour and sub contractors. Duties include monitoring progress, overseeing ordering and delivery of materials. Carrying out regular safety checks ensuring that work is done safely, on time and within budget to the right quality standards and that the work complies with building regulations and health and safety legislation. You will be responsible for holding regular site meetings to liaise with colleagues to make sure everything is running to schedule. What youll need to succeed Previous experience working on fit out and refurbishment projects is vital. As well as this, you will have worked as a joiner and had experience in either a foreman role or have been a supervisor of staff. Additionally you must be very focussed on customer service and complete work to a high level. As well as this, it would be advantageous if you obtain your 2 day SSSTS/ 5 day SMSTS and first aid qualification to be considered. What youll get in return A market rate salary dependant on experience will be offered as well as a company van with a fuel card and other benefits including pension.
