Simulation Engineer - Switzerland, Zurich - 18 Month Contract

Principal tasks - lntegration of application(s) and system in simulation
+ to have an overview about the complex simulation environment
+ to know the interfaces and data flows in the simulation environment
+ to have know-howto do analysis in case of issues in simulation
+ plan and execute integration of new applications and system into simulation
+ test the integrated applications and system
+ do validation of applications and system for projects
- 1st, 2nd and 3rd level support activities:
+ incielent tracking with JIRA
+ analyse incidents and take all measures to resolve the incidents
+ follow up of incidents with maintenance and/or engineering groups
+ reporting internal and to clients
+ anticipate software evolution
+ accountability for hardware evolution
- Coordinate and planning all activities concerning the simulation specific application(s) and system:
+ between people (maintenance, operational experts, software developers, supplier)
+ planning of implementation (develop a release plan, packaging different change requests)
+ planning of the assigned work in time box principle
+ interface with other impacted applications
+ prepare application technical documentation modifications
- Role of single point of contact for bugs and change requests:
+ entry point for new bugs and change requests
+ analysis of impacUfeasibility
+ estimation of workload and cost
+ plan realization according given priority (SCRUM)
- Regulatory responsibilities:
+ assure conformity with applicable regulations
+ follow up audit non-conformities
- Quality:
+ ensure application conforms to company's quality standards and practices
+ follow up development, requirement and testing activities to ensure quality assurance
+ review quality documents
