Silverlight Developer - Web Front End - Telecoms - London

My client is currently recruiting a Silverlight Developer to join a busy development team to provide development support of a Web Front End for a new product in the optimisation market for Telecoms. To be considered for this opportunity applicants must have an appreciation of the following areas:

Development: Has a wide range of development experience and is able to quickly realise Prototypes, Proof of Concepts and develop these into robust productised components,

Technical Direction: Able to work with text and diagrammatic requirements and concept definitions and apply good software principles to realise working prototypes. Will be aware and familiar with elements of Silverlight and have an appreciation of SOA standards. A basic understanding of Telecoms Systems would be of benefit. Will be good at realising input technical direction and communicating code and ideas to the rest of the R&D staff,

Performance Measures: Decomposition of input tasks to clear deeper requirements in text, diagrammatic illustrations of approach and available UML tool diagrams (eg EA), Decomposition Defects per 1,000 lines of Alpha and Beta code developed for Prototypes and PoC's and Technical Updates.

It is also important for applicants to have a BSc/ B.Eng degree in one of the following to at least a 2.1 standard: Computer Science, Communications Engineering, Electronic and/ or Electrical Engineering, Physics or Mathematics.
