SIGNAL PROCESSING ENGINEER

Signal processing engineer with audio algorithms experience required for a long term contracting role for a research focussed audio design house based near Antwerp in Belgium.

The client has continuous project demand and would therefore be looking for a starter as soon as possible.

IN THIS ROLE THERE ARE TWO KEY TASKS:

- Algorithms side: design of new algorithms within the area of spatial sound as well as performance improvement of existing algorithms
- Implementation side: implementation of algorithms onto DSP processors including Sharc, TIDSP and Blackfin

THE CLIENT IS LOOKING FOR EXPERIENCE IN THE FOLLOWING AREAS:

- Algorithm design and simulation: Matlab/Simulink, C++
- Embedded implementation: strong coding skills with Embedded C and C++
- Extensive DSP processor experience: TIDSP, Sharc, Blackfin
- Previous experience designing and implementing signal processing algorithms with an audio focus
