Siemens COMOS Software Engineer - COMOS 10.x/VB/C#/Delphi

Superb global client require an experienced COMOS Developer with experience in VB, .NET and Delphi Scripting for a long-term contract in Solothurn, Switzerland.

Tasks & Accountabilities:
*Software and database design and implementation, with particular focus in Siemens COMOS products
*Configuration and customization of the COMOS software platform
*Development of various piping and components, symbols, reports, datasheets and interfaces
*Supporting and advising Project Engineers on all technical COMOS considerations, ensuring that design will meet the customers expectation
*Managing the allocated scope of work to achieve the project goals and objectives
*Participate in Project Reviews as support of the Project Manager/Director if required
*Actively participate in project meetings with cross - functional team members, suppliers, and/or customers
*Support Project Manager/Director to ensure a proper project execution

Requirements:
*Bachelor's Degree in related field or equivalent experience with several years of experience in Software Implementation, design and customization
*A solid foundation in software and database design and implementation, with particular focus in Siemens COMOS

*Experience and expertise with the following technologies:
oCOMOS 9.x and 10.x
oProgramming skills in VB Scripting (VBScript), C# and Delphi

*Excellent communication skills, strong analytical skills
*Industry knowledge and understanding of manufacturing principles
*Broad knowledge of MS Project, and the MS Office Suite
*Excellent command of spoken and written English
*Swiss Nationality, EU Passport holder or in possession of a Valid Work Permit
