Short Term Planner

An excellent opportunity is now available for a Short Term Planner on behalf of one of Europe's leading airlines. Based at the head office of this FTSE 100 E-commerce company in Luton.

An important part of your role will be ensuring that all appropriate legislative and company procedures (as well as company and contracted customer policies) are adhered to in order to make sure that the company remains compliant and their aircraft are kept airworthy. In addition to this, known and notified health and safety requirements will need to be complied to and you will need to communicate these to other when required.

Defects on the fleet need to be actively reviewed and the rectification of these will need to be planned. Also, the maintenance activity along with the statuses of aircraft will need to be accurately recorded on the aircraft management systems within the airline's Maintenance Operations Control (MOC) Centre and that maintenance requirement data is fed back to the relevant records department. AOG situations and/or release of aircraft recorded in fleet reports will need to be monitored with tasks deferred as defined within company procedures.

Please note that, if successful, you will be working on a continuous shift basis on a 28 day rota for 12 hours per shift.

To be considered for this role you will need to have the following skills/experience;

- Competent in Aircraft Maintenance Planning functions as well as an understanding of aircraft maintenance programmes
- Previously have used AMOS systems as well as the MS Office suite
- Knowledge of EASA, FOCA and CAA regulations
- Have a proven track record of flexibility, team work and adaptability in ever changing working environments
