Shipping/Receiving Technician Job

SHIPPING/RECEIVING TECHNICIAN needed for a CONTRACT position with Yoh's client located inBRANCHBURG, NJ. For the right candidate this position could become PERMANENT.

THE BIG PICTURE - TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- Warehouse/Shipping Forklift Experience

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Prepare cylinders for shipments (Removing Old Labels, Painting, Inspecting/Checking, Wrapping Valve Labeling With Appropriate Information Company And D.O.T Requirements, Bar - Code Scanning, Loading On Pallets .
- Basic ERP Data Entry
- Prepare shipping paperwork according to Company Policy and D.O.T regulations.
- Contact Common Carriers and company location's to coordinate delivery and pickup of cylinders, and other materials
- Ship, Receive, and Deliver supplies, materials and equipment
- Maintain Inventory Control and records
- Ability to Lift and Carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Maintains a clean, neat and orderly work area
- Ability to Follow All Work Instructions And Safety Protocol (S.)
- Works Safely and Utilizes all Necessary PPE
- Escalates any Potential Safety or Quality Concerns.
- Ability To Understand The Properties And Hazards Associated With Chemicals And Compressed Gases.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- One (1) or more years of experience in a warehouse environment.
- Ability to operate a forklift truck and pallet jack and other cylinder movement type equipment
- High School Diploma or GED Required
