A Shipping Coordinator is required to work for a Global Medical Solutions company to prepare and execute the distribution of shipments from their Cardiff site.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS INCLUDE:
- Inspect and prepare shipments for distribution per SOP (Standard Operating Procedure).
- Perform physical movement of shipment(s) from one area to another using pump trucks or fork lifts.
- Review and process shipments against Sales Orders using ERP system to offsite locations.
- Maintains/reviews shipping records for accurate reporting.
- Help reconcile inventory discrepancies and report discrepancies to Supervisor.
- Comply with EHS & Quality System regulations and policies.
- Read and follow work instructions and distribution protocol.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS
- ERP System experience for Shipping
- Order Management, Supply chain flows, Inventory Management experience
- Proficient in Maths and Computers skills
DESIRABLE SKILLS
- Experience of Oracle ERP System
- Fork Lift/weight scales experience
- Knowledge in Export Compliance/Dangerous Goods shipping
- Previous experience working in a Warehouse Environment (Picker/Packing etc) involved in the Export of goods.
