Shipping Clerk

Yoh has a contract opportunity for a SHIPPING CLERK to join our client in BILLERICA, MA.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist the shipping department in completing all daily responsibilities.
- Ensure shipments are accurate and meet critical deadlines.
- Ability to work with time restraints; understands the sense of urgency; ability to handle multiple tasks
- Keeping work center clean and orderly.
- Package shipments for ground, air, and ocean shipments.
- Process Oracle transaction, "Ship Confirm".
- Ensure all paperwork is correct, ex. Dangerous Goods Declaration, Export Declaration, Commercial Invoices.
- Ensure adherence to D.O.T./OSHA/other D.O.L. regulations, delivery performance, and other related duties.
- Support internal customer in driving to on time demand.

Job Qualifications:
- H.S Diploma or equivalent
- Proficiency with Microsoft office programs or ability to learn.
- Familiar with UPS, FEDEX, DHL computer systems
- Familiar with Oracle 11i Shipping Applications
- knowledge of exports
- Ability to lift 20 lbs. frequently and 50 lbs. occasionally
