FinXL IT Professional Services is an established innovative Australian company providing technology enabled business solutions and consulting services across a number of industries including Telecommunications, Government and Finance.

The Role:

FinXL currently are looking to engage an experienced Shift Lead/Manager with an IT support background to work on one of their client's key Cloud Service divisions, providing technical support internally and externally. This is an exclusive opportunity to work in a busy environment and get involved with a talented diverse team.

The position will suit someone who is delivery focused that likes to work in a collaborative team environment and drive the success of an organisation. To be successful, you will need to have demonstrable commercial IT support/shift management experience and a strong understanding of Cloud technologies. The successful candidate will have to be available for a 24/7 rotating shift

Responsibilities include:

Ensure that all support and operations resource have the required tools and access to perform their tasks
 Plan and organize work and activities of the support and operation teams
 Ensure Service Agents log, update, track, and report on all their tasks
 Advice and support activities of the teams in case of crisis/disaster
 Escalate Major Incidents to Incident Coordinator
 Escalate major issues in the teams Support Manager

Skills and knowledge required:

At least 2 years experience in leading operational teams
 ITIL certification is ideal
 Good knowledge of Cloud Computing
 Be able to take decisions on time, in accordance with the objectives, in a flexible and varied way
 Leadership and collaboration skills
 Experience in planning and monitoring team activities
 Telco background is a bonus but not essential
