Sharepoint Systems Administrator

Provide SharePoint Infrastructure and Administration within this Australian Federal Government agency.

This is a high profile organisation. Some international travel may be required.

SKILLS:- - SharePoint administrator
- General understanding of all phases of the application development life cycle and project management disciplines
- Support in a SharePoint web content management implementation
- Experience using PowerShell
- SQL Server and SSRS and how they integrate with SharePoint
- DNS, SMTP and Windows Network Load Balancing
- VMware, Citrix, or other Virtualization products
- Proven critical thinking and strong problem solving skills required.

DUTIES:- - 2nd/3rd level Support services for production SharePoint infrastructure.
- SharePoint infrastructure services to the SharePoint Upgrade Project.
- Prioritise, analyse and complete tasks according to urgency.
- Provide technical advice on the H/W and S/W configuration within SOE.
- Be part of the problem resolution process.
- Implement changes to departmental systems SOE strictly in accordance with departmental change control procedures.
- Ensure tasks and progressive action history are duly recorded and concluded to the client's satisfaction.
- Participate as required in the project management process and endeavour to achieve client outcomes in the most effective way. Maintain data security and system integrity in accordance.
