Sharepoint Solution Architect

Understanding of the platform through the acquisition of knowledge and analysis (onsite)

. Analyse and understand the existing site structure and design, configuration, business functional requirements, integration and data flow, access and security, code solutions and customizations using the available technical design and source code documentation

. Review the documentation provided by the current developers and propose mechanism to improve control and maintenance.

. Assist in reviewing the support model and develop efficiency improvement plan

. Identify root cause of problems based on issues raised and parked during the test and launch phases, analyse and evaluate impact, and propose solutions and maintenance plan

Maintenance support (offsite)

. Assist with solutions and configuration settings in the site.

. Keep abreast with regular Microsoft updates and development roadmap of SharePoint Online that affect the performance of custom code and solutions and be able to provide advice on impact and available options.

New Enhancements development and project management/coordination (onsite/offsite)

. Review the list of new business requirements, determine technical feasibility and propose solutions and prepare the technical design specifications

. Develop wireframes, high fidelity mock-ups, visual design templates in coordination with business users

. Coordinate with the Developer to implement the solutions

. Involvement in the preparation of project plans and progress

. Assist in the risk and issues identification and analysis related to the project.
