Sharepoint Server Side Developer - Windows - .NET - ASP - Contract - 8

SHAREPOINT SERVER SIDE DEVELOPER REQUIRED, to work on a project within a major Bank in Basel Switzerland.

We are seeking an experienced SharePoint Server Side developer with a strong .NET and software engineering background.

Experience in applying software engineering principals, application life cycle management and DevOps is essential.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Development of enterprise wide SharePoint artefacts
- Development of SharePoint hosted web services to support SharePoint client-side development
- Development of services to synchronise line of business data with SharePoint

REQUIRED SKILLS

- Deep knowledge of SharePoint 2013 Server Side Object Model
- Demonstrable experience developing against the Microsoft .NET stack
- MVC.NET
- ASP.NET
- WCF
- WebAPI
- Solid understanding of SharePoint Solution and Feature framework
- Proven experience deploying SharePoint Farm solutions with minimal downtime
- Experience in applying Application Lifecycle Management processes
- Continuous Integration
- Continuous Delivery
- Build Automation
- Test Automation
- Deep understanding of SharePoint's core lists infrastructure
- Knowledge of SharePoint's Document Management capabilities
- Experience developing for SharePoint BCS
- Experience developing Workflows for SharePoint and/or WWF
- Experience applying software engineering patterns and principals such as DDD, IoC
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript and common JS libraries (jQuery)
- Strong managed debugging skills
- Developing code to a consistent standard via the use of tools
- Experience building and deploying SharePoint Timer Jobs and Service Applications
- Knowledge of SharePoint Search and its APIs
- Strong understanding of SharePoint's Security Model
- Developing with token security; Claims, OAuth and Kerberos
- Experience developing services for synchronisation of SharePoint Service data (MMS, UPA)
- Good understanding of PowerShell and how to develop for it
- Knowledge of version control and branching strategies, Git preferred
- Experience delivering within and contributing towards Agile practices (eg Scrum)

DESIRABLE, BUT NON-ESSENTIAL SKILLS:

- Documentum
- AngularJS

DURATION: 3 months contract initialy (most probably Option for extension)
