Project Manager - SharePoint

My client, a global financial organisation, is seeking a project manager to be responsible for implementing a suite of Microsoft products, including Outlook, Exchange, Lync and Sharepoint. The Development Project Manager will be responsible for Delivery of SharePoint application development (including enhancement of core components and services, new templates required for migration from Lotus Notes)

EXPERIENCE:

- 5+ years of experience in program/project management
- Other relevant experience in a related technical field (application development, deployment/implementation and infrastructure)
- Work experience in a professional services and/or global IT consulting industries preferred
- Experience of development in SharePoint (2013 preferred) and exposure to Lotus Notes application landscape

PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

- Management of program/project process stages (demand and pipeline, initiate, plan, elaborate, design, build, test, implement, monitor and control and close)
- Management of the supporting processes (eg scope, cost, quality, time, issue, risk, dependencies, resource, communication, stakeholder management).
- Stakeholder relationship management including engagement and facing off to senior stakeholders across the business and IT
- Management of large global teams (including Offshore/nearshore teams)
- Vendor relationship management
- Driving impact of IT delivered Business Change
