Sharepoint Office 365 Business Analyst

Our flagship client based in Brussels has just released an urgent request for a Sharepoint Office 365 Business Analyst for a long term project based in Brussels

SharePoint has been used within the customer's organization since 2008.
It is used as collaboration platform within teams and projects (mainly document management)
Intranet and publication environment
B2B portal to give external stakeholders access to internal applications and sites (setup via ADFS and Kerberos delegation)
The aim is for standard SharePoint setup of the sites, but there are still a whole series of customizations. There are business-critical applications for which a 24/7 watch service has been set up.
Our standard SharePoint environment is currently SharePoint 2013, consisting of several farms. We are fully engaged with the migration of SharePoint 2010 to this environment. The next step is to implement SharePoint online within the organization of our customer as part of a transition to O365.

Responsibilities:

The assignment is to help us in our transition to SharePoint Online on the basis of his/her concrete experience.

During the execution of the assignment we expect you to:

Take charge of the objectives to be realized:
Plan of approach and planning
Communicate with the people involved in the activities
Report on the progress to the application manager and the management document each deliverable
The SharePoint & O365 Business Analyst is part of the SharePoint team responsible for development and maintenance of the SharePoint sites and applications.

The objectives are:
Validation of the roadmap that we have defined for the transition to SharePoint Online.
Helping with the definition of governance for O365: the scope of governance is broader than just SharePoint Online.
Change management: SharePoint Online brings changes for the different SharePoint profiles (end user, site owner, functional analyst, developer, system engineer). The necessary preparation and support must be provided for this to become.
Definition of migration strategy: define step by step how the migration should be tackled:
Prerequisites: list the preparatory activities and preconditions that must be met for the migration
performed
Definition of who does what
Which tools are needed for the migration to run smoothly

Prioritization of the sites to be migrated: which sites first, whether or not to bundle certain sites, ...
As Business Analyst we expect you to:

You work closely with the system engineer, architect, technical analysts and are able to handle different solutions reaching out, indicating the pros and cons of each solution.
Helping with the O365 Governance
Drafting and guiding Proof of Concepts and Pilot projects around O365
Draw up the approach to provisioning/retention
Drawing up the approach to migration

Technical skills:
Give workshops to analyze user needs
Drawing up a vision document and strategy to achieve the goal
Drafting the Governance Plan (O365/SP Online)
Practical experience in guiding the migration to O365 (SharePoint Online, Teams, Flow, etc)
Drafting analysis documents
Transfer business and functional information to technical persons
Structured testing and evaluation of IT applications/solutions
Helps end-users to structurally test and evaluate IT applications/solutions
Knowledge of SharePoint 2010, 2013, 2016
Knowledge of O365 (Microsoft Teams, SharePoint Online, Flow, etc.)
