TECHNICAL ANALYST (MS OFFICE/SHAREPOINT)

One of my leading tech clients in Brussels is urgently seeking a Technical Analyst (MS Office/
SharePoint) for a long term contract paying excellent rates.

TECHNICAL ANALYST (MS OFFICE/SHAREPOINT) KEY SKILLS:

- MS Office and SharePoint, HTML/XHTML, CSS

Photoshop (basis) - Front End development Bootstrap/HTML5/Javascript
- Responsive web design
- SEO competence
- Editorial common sense and good web writing skills
- Strong knowledge and understanding of the Internet/Websites
- Sound knowledge in English, Dutch and French

TECHNICAL ANALYST (MS OFFICE/SHAREPOINT) RESPONSIBILITY:

- Collaborate with communication, marketing and IT experts, external partners and internal stakeholders. Maintain a strong relationship with these partners to be able to act swiftly upon request.
- Ensure site-wide consistency in content
- Give support for editing and publishing content (within guidelines), suggest and/or create new content for the website. Assist on web-based communications strategies and online campaigns.
- Troubleshoot the site
- This includes content, links, order flows, registration flows and transaction logs. If problems arise with these areas of the site, make corrections directly or delegate the task to other members (eg IT).
- Review statistics and monitor analytics
- Analyze the website and visitor reporting and more specifically the main conversion paths so that the overall site performance can be monitored. Provide analysis, metrics reporting, quality control and strategic counsel on the sites. Are the sites performing well and haw we can make them better?
- Maintain responsive design (multi devices publishing)
- Make sure the sites under your supervision are running smooth on any device, os & browser. Stay up to date on the web's latest technologies and make sure the site and its components are always mobile-friendly and multi-platform ready.
- Be the SPOC for IT
- Coordinate & structure all change & maintenance requests for the sites and make sure they are followed up with IT as agreed: scope, budget & planning.
- Be the SPOC for business
- Coordinate & structure all change & maintenance requests for the sites. Provide support and guidance, prioritize requests.
- Testing
- Create or complement test scenarios and test the site with every release. Assess overall site quality and give green light for release to go live based on test results.
- Dynamic linking
- Maintain an inventory of advertisements and manage the ad software/component. Maintain these ads and set parameters for them within the site's architecture.
- Plan for future changes to the website
- Next to the day-to-day activities, focus on the improvement of the website as a whole. Stay current with software and hardware that can improve the success of our site.
